„Były dowódca obrony Moskwy aresztowany za korupcję”
Rosyjski generał major Konstantin Ogienko został aresztowany na trzy miesiące, skierowany do aresztu na podstawie podejrzeń o przyjęcie łapówki. Zarzuty są powiązane z nielegalną sprzedażą gruntów należących do resortu obrony. Ogienko, który był odpowiedzialny za obronę stolicy Rosji przed atakami z powietrza, miał otrzymać 500 tys. rubli (ok. 5 tys. dolarów) łapówki, które miały być pierwszą ratą z 30 mln rubli, które domagał się od jednej z organizacji pozarządowych – informuje rosyjski dziennik „Kommiersant”.
Ogienko służył jako dowódca 1. Armii Obrony Przeciwlotniczej i Przeciwrakietowej Specjalnego Przeznaczenia od 2021 roku. Zadaniem tej jednostki była obrona przeciwlotnicza cennych celów w obwodzie moskiewskim.
Prokuratura prowadziła postępowanie przeciwko Ogienko od lipca, co doprowadziło do jego zwolnienia ze stanowiska. Generał twierdzi, że jest niewinny, jednak jeśli okaże się inaczej, grozi mu nawet 15 lat więzienia. W czasie dowodzenia przez Ogienkę, Moskwa była wielokrotnie atakowana przez drony, a Kreml twierdzi, że za tym stoją siły ukraińskie.
W obliczu tych oskarżeń, Ogienko nie przyznaje się do winy i twierdzi, że jest niewinny. Waży się los jednego z dowódców rosyjskiej armii, który teraz musi stanąć przed sądem, by udowodnić swoją niewinność.
